Every age deserves a family
When people think about adoption, they usually think about babies.

But children don’t stop needing love when they turn five. Or ten. Or fifteen. Right now, children over the age of 7 and teens are waiting…hoping someone will choose them. Not because they’re harder to love. But because they’re often overlooked.

You can be the difference.
Adoption & Permanency
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE
Both adoption and permanency give a child what they need most: stability and belonging.

Adoption
means a child legally becomes part of your family forever. You become their permanent parent — with all the rights, responsibilities, and lifelong commitment that comes with it.

Permanency
means creating a stable, committed family relationship for a child who cannot return home. Our first goal is always reunification with a child’s biological family or placement with a safe family member. When that isn’t possible, we pursue adoption or other long-term guardianship arrangements to ensure no child ages out of care without the security and belonging of a committed family.
At the heart of both is the same goal: a safe, loving home that lasts.

Be the Difference

As children grow older in foster care, their chances of adoption decrease. By the age of 7, their chances of getting adopted are cut in half.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. You may be the family they’re waiting for.
