Meet Abbie

Abbie is an extroverted and sociable preteen with a natural flair for creativity! She lights up when she’s making arts and crafts, and her colorful drawings show off her imagination and love for detail. Music is always part of her day, and lately, she’s been especially drawn to the twang and rhythm of country tunes. If the sun is shining, chances are you’ll spot Abbie splashing in the pool with her friends or racing around the park. She’s also a foodie at heart—never saying no to McDonald’s fries or a Panda Express meal. When it comes to snacks, she has a spicy side, happily digging into Mexican noodles with bold sauce, but she also has a sweet tooth that loves watermelon lollipops and an ice-cold Sprite. At school, Abbie puts effort into her learning and proudly declares math as her favorite subject— even if fractions still give her a challenge now and then. Recess is one of her happiest times, when she can chat and laugh with friends she doesn’t always get to talk to in class. As for her dreams, Abbie is keeping the door wide open, though she’s curious about becoming a teacher for young children or working in a church someday. The right family for Abbie will be patient, trauma-informed, ready to offer both structure and warmth, and located in AZ. She would love to have a two-parent home where she is the youngest or only child. Abbie thrives on connection, so time spent simply talking, playing board games, or watching movies together would mean the world to her. Abbie also has a soft spot for animals and would love a furry friend—or a few to snuggle up with.

Abbie was born in 2013.
