Meet Paulina

Paulina is a vibrant and independent teen with a creative spark that shines through everything she does. She loves experimenting with new hairstyles, filling her world with color, and losing herself in music—especially Latin beats and rap rhythms. When she’s outdoors, you might catch her shooting hoops on the basketball court, taking a relaxing walk, or racing around the tracks at Castles & Coasters. And when it comes to food, she’s an adventurous eater who enjoys the endless variety of a Golden Corral buffet. For quick snacks, though, nothing beats her go-to combo of blue Takis, a Twix bar, and an ice-cold Dr. Pepper. When it comes to school, Paulina prefers the flexibility of online learning and gravitates toward history, where she can dive into stories of the past. Outside of academics, shopping trips with friends—especially for makeup—are a favorite way to spend time. Looking toward her future, Paulina has big dreams: she’s considering a career with the FBI or pursuing medicine as a surgeon, with a special passion for caring for babies.

The family Paulina dreams of joining is one that’s patient, understanding, and trauma-informed— ready to provide both structure and warmth. She hopes for a home with a mom and dad or a single mom where she’s the only child and would be thrilled to share her space with a big dog (or two!) to keep her company. Most of all, Paulina values quality time. Whether it’s taking walks, having heartfelt conversations, or relaxing together with her favorite shows—like Chicago Med or The Vampire Diaries—she longs for a family who will connect with her, support, and celebrate her vibrant personality.
