Family Care Learning – Christian Parenting Classes

Christian Family Care provides a growing library of courses, counseling, and coaching. These resources are designed to help foster and adoptive families develop positive parenting skills. The goal is to educate and empower them to enjoy more stable placements and connections with the children in their care.

Family Care Learning strengthens families and equips parents, guardians, and community members to interact authentically and effectively with at-risk children in their care.

Foster parents can submit Family Care Learning course completion certificates for continuing education credits.

FAQs About Online Parenting Classes

What is the format of the course content?

Each of the courses are made up of a variety of modules with lessons within each. These lessons are made up of short videos to watch. Learners must complete the video before they can advance to the next lesson. There is also a variety of “process questions” throughout each lesson to help learners apply lessons from the videos. Each learner must also complete a final assessment quiz to receive a certificate.

Will I receive a certificate of completion for the course?

Yes! Every online parenting course comes with a certificate of completion that has been approved by the Arizona Department of Child Safety when the last lesson is reached. This certificate will have the learner’s name, the title of the course, the credit hours, and the date of completion.

Can I download the course videos? Are there downloadable resources?

Unfortunately, there is no way to download the material, but the lessons can be rewatched at any time. There are, however, many downloadable handouts and extra resources to help you succeed.

Can I interact with other people/instructors in the course?

Yes! Each lesson has a forum where learners can either post or answer a question for discussion to keep the learning going.

Can I watch the courses together with my spouse or do we each have to have our own login?

Just like our in-person courses, the pricing for the online parenting classes is based per participant. Each purchase should be logged under an individual’s name, and only that name will be tied to the proof of participation.

What if this course is not for me? Do you offer refunds?

No, all classes are nonrefundable. Please look at the course curriculum for each class before enrolling and if you’re at all unsure, reach out to our support prior to signing up.
