The Truth

In recent months, children right here in Arizona have lost their lives in ways that should break all of our hearts. From school violence to violence at the hands of a person that is supposed to protect them to violence in our community… we aren’t doing enough.

46%

46% of kids in Arizona have lived through trauma — abuse, neglect, or dysfunction at home.

More than 7,000 are in foster care today.

116

In 2023, 116 Arizona children died as a direct result of abuse or neglect — and nearly half (44%) were infants under one year old.

Step In Today

Many foster families, mentors, and prayer partners have already stepped in. We’re grateful for them.

But the need is outpacing the response, and children are still hurting.

The Problem

We can no longer look away. If we want things to change, we have to step in. The crisis facing our children is real—and their future depends on what we do right now.

But there is hope.

When we rise together, children aren’t defined by trauma—they find healing, stability, and the chance to dream again.

This isn’t someone else’s problem. It’s our shared responsibility as neighbors and believers. Even if you only have a few hours a month to give, every moment matters for these kids.
