Family Maintenance Support Volunteer - Family Care KIDS
Help ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for children by assisting with repairs, upkeep, and seasonal projects. This role is perfect for hands-on individuals who enjoy independent work while supporting the daily needs of a busy preschool setting.
Additional requirements
- Prior handyman or general maintenance experience required (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (bending, climbing ladders, etc.)
- Dependable, proactive, and safety-conscious
- Willingness to complete a background check and follow school safety protocols
- Comfortable working around children in a school environment
Time commitment
- 5-10 hour shifts
- Days vary
