Project Starfish aims to help youth transitioning out of the foster care system develop their own goals, identify supportive relationships, and access the community resources necessary to be successful as they transition into adulthood. The program will help these individuals navigate life outside of the child welfare system through the development of:
Access to Community Resources
Youth and Young people eligible for the Starfish program include:
- Current foster youth between the ages of 15-21
- Former foster youth between the ages of 18-21
- Youth who were adopted from the foster care system between the ages of 16-21
The Starfish program is designed to support individuals looking to actively participate in their own service planning and work towards accomplishing the goals they set for themselves.
