This Thanksgiving season, we raise our voices toward heaven and sing to God. With grateful hearts, we pour out our praises for his endless love.
“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods.” Psalm 95:1-3
At Christian Family Care, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude to God and to you. , God has shown his favor on us through your loving support and partnership. With your support we have helped thousands of at-risk children and families in the name of Jesus Christ. God is great, and his work through you and our strategy to prevent disruption, prepare families, restore children into forever families, and preserve marriage and families, has achieved life transformation for countless children and families.
As the psalmist, we have a reason to sing, for there is hope for the abused, neglected, and abandoned child. Every child we serve has hope for a better future because of you. See Rachel’s song, as she praises the Lord for his preparation of her and her husband Jeremy, and his restoration of their adopted daughter Brielle through CFC.
This was the verse that comforted Jeremy and Rachel as they waited for God to move. We have all spent time in the stillness of waiting, wondering if God hears our call and listening for his voice in the chaos of life. Rachel would say, “God is truly the artist of the story and everything will happen in his perfect timing.”
Jeremy and Rachel knew that God cared about them and Brielle and that this adoption would mean more than they could ever imagine. God was working his great power and love to bring Brielle into their lives. While they waited, they turned to God’s embrace. They went to friends who had gone through their own adoption journey for advice, and they went through the trainings and resources provided by you through CFC. These trainings and resources strengthened their marriage and prepared their hearts for the family that God was creating in and for them.
As Jeremy and Rachel celebrate Brielle’s first birthday, we join them in singing out praises of thanksgiving for the knitting together of their beautiful family. We join our voices with Jeremy and Rachel for the life of their daughter, Brielle. A life preserved, that was forever changed by God’s perfect plans.
