Since 1982, Christian Family Care Agency has served Children and Families through Foster Care, Child and Family Counseling, Pregnancy Counseling, and Adoption.

CFCA's fundamental belief is that a nurturing family is essential to every child's success and as a result, hundreds of children that have come to the Agency in crisis situations are now part of loving and caring families.

One afternoon not too long ago we received a call at our Tucson office from the social worker at a hospital on the west side of town. She explained that she had a young woman in labor at the hospital who wanted to place her child for adoption. The young woman also wanted to place the child with a married couple who were, preferably, Christian. So, the social worker called Christian Family Care.

I told her that I would be glad to stop by the hospital in a little while and speak with the young woman. Although, I knew that so many times when a young woman comes in for counseling late in her pregnancy stating that she wants to place, she ends up parenting...
