Preschool Volunteer
Volunteers support teachers to create a loving atmosphere for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. You will need a negative TB test.
Time Commitment
Min 4-hour shift, Mon-Fri, 7:30am-5:30pm
Administrative Volunteer –
Social Services
As an administrative volunteer, you will work in the central Phoenix office on projects in an office environment.
Time Commitment
2-8 hour shifts available any weekday
Administrative Volunteer –
Family Services (Phoenix/Tucson)
As an administrative volunteer, you will work in the Tucson office on projects in an office environment.
Time Commitment
Phoenix: Mon-Wed, 8:30am-3pm
Tucson: Mon-Thu, 8am-4pm
Thrift Store Associate (Phoenix/Tucson)
If you like to organize, sort and treasure hunt, this opportunity is for you!
Time Commitment
Phoenix: Min 4-hour shift, 9am-6pm
Tucson: Min 4-hour shift, Mon-Sat, 9am-5pm
Facility Maintenance Support
We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with a variety of building repairs and maintenance tasks.
Time Commitment
2-8 hour shifts available any weekday
Become a Church Liaison
Educate your home church about our ministry and inspire congregants to embrace God’s heart for vulnerable children.
Time Commitment
Check in 1-4 times per year
Become a Prayer Partner
Prayer is the lifeblood of our ministry. Become a prayer partner, and we’ll provide you with prayer requests each month.

Mentor a Foster Child
Provide vulnerable youth, young adults, and young parents with a mentor who will have a consistent presence in their lives.
Time Commitment
At least four hours per month and commit to a year-long mentorship.

Preschool Volunteer
POSITION SUMMARY
Family Care KIDS volunteers support teachers to create a warm and loving atmosphere for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. As a volunteer, you will:
- Engage children in learning through play and exploration.
- Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Provide support during snack time, outdoor play, and monthly chapel time.

Thrift Store Associate – Phoenix and Tucson
POSITION SUMMARY
Our CFC Thrift Stores are staffed mostly by dedicated, Christ-centered volunteers. If you like to organize, sort and
treasure hunt, this opportunity is for you! As a volunteer, you will:
- Sort and price merchandise
- Help customers find items
- Manage register occasionally
- Discern quality
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 16 years old (or 15 years with an adult)
- Drivers License or State ID
- Superior Court Check

Facility Maintenance Support
POSITION SUMMARY
Are you a handy fixer-upper who enjoys working on projects independently? We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with a variety of building repairs and maintenance tasks. As a Facility Maintenance Helper, you will:
- Choose tasks from a list of tasks needed to keep our facilities is in shape
- Travel to Thrift Store, Preschool, and/or Central Office as assigned
- Assess and/or troubleshoot issues as they present themselves and report to staff

Church Liaison Volunteer
POSITION SUMMARY
Help us connect with your church to provide resources and support to families interested in learning more about foster care or adoption. As a volunteer, you can:
- Invite your pastor or outreach director to meet with our Community Engagement Manager to learn about ways we can partner together to help vulnerable children in your community.
- Help us schedule a Foster Care/Adoption Information Session or Resource Table at your church on a Sunday.
- Be the foster care liaison for your church and inform us of opportunities to serve together.
